Mythical forest - guided tour in Nuuksio

Ancient Finland was the land of forests and people lived in tight cooperation with the wild environment. Throughout times nature has been a matter of awe and our ancestors had a rather different relationship with its creatures - real and imaginary - compared to our modern apprehensions.

Get yourself acquainted with the court of "Tapiola", the mythical gods, goddesses, spirits and creatures of the Finnish folklore. Learn about the ancient worldview of the nation that is deeply entwined with nordic nature.

Start: Main entrance of Haltia
Distance: approx. 3,5 kms
Difficulty: Easy. The trail might follow uneven terrain and narrow forest paths. 
Dresscode: Wear clothing according to the weather conditions. Rain cloaks and rubber boots may be loaned from Haltia. (Subject to availability.) 
Capacity: max. 20 persons/group. For bigger groups we will allocate more guides.
